This journal exists online.

Therefore, we acknowledge the legacy of colonial practice that has created and remains illustrated by the patterns of access to, and use of, the internet.

Our editorial board & authors are international citizens of the world.

Therefore, we call attention to the ways in which the technologies we use in research, in communication, and in artistic practice are not equitably distributed throughout the world. We recognize that the historical patterns of recognition and citation in artistry, research, and writing have inequitably promoted work done by members of the colonizing minority. We call upon ourselves and our readers to acknowledge our shared, international responsibility to care for one another and to practice decolonial mindsets and actions, to be active in allyship, and to work to change our industry and our world for the better.
